FAQS

QWhat is a small ball bearing?

AMiniature & small sized ball bearings. Ball bearings are machinery components, which comprise an outer ring, inner ring, balls, retainers, shields and snap rings. Miniature and small-sized ball bearing mean ball bearing, up to 30mm in external diameter.

QWhat is a miniature bearing?

AMiniature Bearings. Miniature bearings are sometimes referred to as instrument bearings or micro bearings and are used in applications as varied as gyros, anemometers, flow meters, miniature gearboxes, small motors and radio controlled models.

QWhat is precision bearing?

AA precision bearing is anything that has a higher standard precision level (i.e. ISO P5 or ABEC 5). The step up from this is super-precision bearings that have a precision level of ISO P4 or ABEC 7 or better.

QHow many balls are there in a ball bearing?

ABall bearing. There are three main parts in a ball bearing: two grooved, ringlike races, or tracks, and a number of hardened steel balls. The races are of the same width but different diameters; the smaller one, fitting inside the larger one and having a groove on its outside surface, is attached on its inside surface to one of the machine members.
